Grief Counselling
Grief is a personal experience and each individual experiences loss and transition(s) in their own unique way. Grief does not have a timeline. Grief can be experienced early on as well as resurface in waves year(s) later when the mourner is reminded of memorable events in life such as birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, shared activities, and so on. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to grieve and it isn't a realistic expectation for someone to 'get over' or 'move on' with their loss. The more meaningful the bond and relationship, the greater likelihood that the mourner will feel a permanent change to self and life. This also includes layered grief experiences involving strained and estranged relationships.
I'm here to listen, comfort, support, and help you find meaning in life. This doesn't mean the absence of pain or distress but rather individual/spiritual growth from having loved someone or something so deeply.
